
On the afternoon of September 16, 2019, Ma Jianrong, Chairman of Shenzhou International, led a delegation to visit and guide Baofang Printing and Dyeing. Accompanying them were Hu Guowei, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Keqiao District People's Congress, Qi Fangliang, Deputy District Mayor of Keqiao District, Ma Renhe, Vice General Manager and Executive Director of Shenzhou International, and Dong Qinxia, Chief Engineer of Shenzhou International. The reception team included Yu Baomu, Chairman of Baofang Printing and Dyeing, Li Ruizong, Secretary of the General Party Branch of Baofang Printing and Dyeing, Yu Shaobo, General Manager of Baofang Printing and Dyeing, and Shi Zhonghua, Vice General Manager in charge of international trade at Baofang Printing and Dyeing.

Upon alighting the car, Mr. Ma had a cordial meeting with Mr. Yu and immediately headed straight for the workshop. During the visit, Mr. Yu introduced to Mr. Ma his connection with the textile printing and dyeing industry. Although Baofang is not comparable to Shenzhou International in terms of enterprise scale and industry influence, Baofang has always taken Shenzhou International as a benchmark in production and operation: product positioning prioritizes quality, focusing solely on high-end boutique products; willing to invest in equipment, conduct technological transformation and research and development, and optimize costs; fully participating in international competition, respecting the market and customers, offering customers benefits, and achieving win-win results. These two entrepreneurs of the same age in the textile industry have demonstrated their original intention and mission of "industry rejuvenating the country" and "textile power" in their enterprise management philosophy.

Inside the workshop, Mr. Ma conducted a comprehensive and meticulous inspection, walking slowly and asking questions to Mr. Yu from time to time, to understand the product characteristics, process features, market scale, annual sales, and other aspects of Baofang's batik printing.

Mr. Ma also walked to the printing machine and carefully observed the process of batik printing at Baofang, while communicating with Vice General Manager Ma Renhe about production techniques from time to time.

Mr. Ma expressed his affirmation for Baofang's neat and orderly workshop environment and high-standard clean production. He also commended the flat and translucent stainless steel panels on the workshop passageways, as well as the elevating and detachable canopies between workshops that do not obstruct the fire escape routes, suggesting that these practices could be referenced for others to learn from.

Mayor Qi introduced to Mr. Ma the outstanding five-star party building work of Baofang. Each machine block has a red signboard labeled "Party Member and Cadre Contact Point", indicating the name of the party member who has claimed the contact point. Mr. Ma expressed his appreciation and said that as the chairman of the party committee of Shenzhou International, he loves to hear and talk about party building work the most. Secretary Li introduced to Mr. Ma the daily work of Baofang's party building work and pioneered the organization of a red revolutionary trip to Yan'an for all party members this year, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. This trip refined the Baofang spirit of "seeking truth from facts" and "striving for excellence", which is of great benefit to production management and quality management.

In the finished product finishing and packaging workshop, Mr. Ma and Mr. Yu exchanged views on the development of automation and intelligence. Although Baofang has achieved some small results in automation transformation in automatic slurry adjustment and automatic cloth stacking and labeling, with a reduction of 2-3 employees per production line and an efficiency increase of 50%, Mr. Ma said that further optimization could be carried out, especially in the packaging workshop, where full automation of robotic arms could be fully realized. As we all know, Shenzhou is a representative of automated production. Mr. Ma's suggestions to Mr. Yu regarding Baofang are very practical and thoughtful, showing that he is a responsible and conscientious "teacher Ma".

After the visit, Mr. Ma, in high spirits, introduced to Mr. Yu and Ms. Yu the journey of Shenzhou International's investment and factory construction abroad in Southeast Asia. Starting from 2005, they established a garment factory in Cambodia, completed a fabric factory in Vietnam in 2014, and newly built garment factories in Cambodia and Vietnam in 2018. Currently, international employees account for more than one-third of the total workforce. In the future, Shenzhou will accelerate the promotion of production capacity layout and automation of production equipment in Southeast Asia, aiming to achieve a production scale of 50,000 employees in Cambodia. Mr. Ma welcomed Mr. Yu to visit Shenzhou's production base in Cambodia.

Shenzhou International has proven that even in traditional industries with non-monopolistic and fully competitive global markets, great enterprises can be born. This is a great encouragement to many peer companies like Baofang that focus on the main business of textile printing and dyeing. Baofang will continue to take Shenzhou International as a benchmark for learning, striving for excellence and forging ahead in quality management, cost management, and customer management. I wish Shenzhou International will become better and better, and I wish Baofang Printing and Dyeing will become the Shenzhou International of the African wax fabric market.
